MEET THE SECRETARY BIRD
I’m so happy you’ve made it to my website. Let me introduce myself.
I'm Fiona, the Secretary Bird. I am a graphic designer and typesetter, with over 30 years experience in the advertising and printing industry, having worked for SSC&B Lintas and the brilliant Syd Brak in South Africa, amongst others. Before leaving to settle in England I worked for 18 years as head of the design department of one of the largest instant print companies in South Africa.
When I came to England some years ago, I found myself heading in a different career direction, that of customer service. I have discovered I love the personal interaction with customers, especially solving their problems, being able to communicate well both face to face, on the telephone and via email, with a confident manner.
I have always been a prolific reader of all types of books, and over the years have honed my writing, spelling and grammar skills. Together with my love of the English language, graphic design and the internet, I bring all this into play in my business.
